Join us for a weekend of Welsh winter traditions and music from Gwilym Bowen Rhys. We are excited that Gwilym is joining us again following an amazing weekend we had with him last year. An immensely talented singer and story teller, he will be joining us on the Friday late afternoon and performing on the Friday Evening. The weekend will be about welsh winter traditions and we will be writing and performing with the Mari Llwyd. Last year was a fantastic time. On the Saturday evening, we will be learning traditional Welsh folk dances and joining in/creating a Twmpath(dancing optional).
Cost of the weekend including 3 nights accommodation in a single room at Garth Newydd is £195 with a deposit of £75 to secure your place. We will be using Cymraeg only to communicate across the weekend. We will be joined by a group of other learners staying locally so the options to mix and speak Welsh will be amazing.
Breakfast and evening meal will be provided in the house for free but of course you may need a little bit of money for bits and pieces out and about.
You will Arrive on Friday 12th of January around 5pm. We will leave on Monday 15th before 10am. You can leave earlier if you wish.
