We have one twin or double room available if you wish please pay two deposits and let me know on contactpaned@gmail.com

Arrive on Friday 23rd May anytime from 5pm and leave on Sunday 25th May around 2pm

You can leave earlier if you wish.

What can you expect?   The idea of these weekends is that you use the Welsh that you have been learning.  You will be in a house of other Welsh learners, and everyone will be trying their best to communicate and live through Welsh, as we cook, eat and socialise together.  During the weekend, we will introduce you to Welsh speakers, and we will go out and about to use our Welsh.  At times it can be challenging, but the rewards are huge! This weekend we have added something extra and we will dedicate the Saturday to working with our tutor

Lampeter is one of the best towns in Mid/South Wales for the Welsh language to be heard and used everywhere. Our home-from-home, Garth Newydd brings a new level of comfort to Welsh courses.

Breakfast and one evening meal a day will be provided in the house for free, but you will need some money for a meal out each day.  We usually have Sunday lunch together which is £13, and there are cafes and takeaways that have meals for around £5

Deposit is refundable upto 14 days before the event but not after.

Gweithdy ynganu

Dych chi’n dysgu Cymraeg ac am wella eich ynganu? Yn y sesiwn ryngweithiol a chefnogol hon cewch chi ddysgu am reolau ynganu hanfodol y Gymraeg. 1) Sesiwn drafod: Byddwn i’n sgyrsio gyda’n gilydd gan rannu ein profiadau a’n hanawsterau o ran ynganu. Pa seiniau sy’n anodd i ni a pham? Beth sy’n helpu? Oes cyngor sydd ddim yn ein helpu? Yn y rhan hon byddwn ni’n edrych ar wallau cyffredin.
2) Rheolau ynganu’r Gymraeg: llafariaid y Gymraeg
3) Aceniad (stress): Ble mae’r aceniad ar eiriau Cymraeg? Sut dyn ni’n acennu geiriau yn y Gymraeg? Sut mae’r aceniad yn newid ansawdd llafariaid?
4) Goslef frawddegol (sentence-level intonation): Sut mae’r llais yn codi ac yn disgyn ar hyd brawddegau yn y Gymraeg?
5) Gwrando a chanfod (listening and perceiving): Tasgau ar wahaniaethau rhwng seiniau anodd yn y Gymraeg.
