This weekend it will be 60 years since Cymdeithas yr iaith held their first protest on Trefechan bridge in Aberystwyth. We will be making a trip to Aberystwyth to hear the background and the story of this first protest from a group who have worked hard to protect the Welsh language over the years and lots more about the history of the Welsh language through the years.
Cost of the weekend including 3 nights accommodation in a single room at Garth Newydd is £155 with a deposit of £50 to secure your place. Our weekends are aimed at people who wish to improve their convesational Welsh. We will be using Cymraeg only to communicate across the weekend.
Breakfast and evening meal will be provided in the house for free but of course you may need a little bit of money for bits and pieces out and about.

You will Arrive on Friday 3rd of February around 5pm. We will leave on Monday 6th before 10am. You can leave earlier if you wish.
There is a chance to stay on in the accommodation at £45 per night if you wish to enjoy the area and it's people.
